Breakdown Challan : A major announcement has been made for those who travel and drive on the Noida Expressway. Noida Traffic Police have issued a fresh warning. The traffic police have taken significant steps to alleviate the traffic congestion on the Noida Motorway. The traffic police have proclaimed the Noida Motorway a ‘Breakdown Challan’ zone. Under the new guideline, if a car breaks down or stops on the road, causing traffic to rise, the police can take action. However, this rule has been implemented initially for business vehicles.

What is the definition of a Breakdown Challan?
Noida Traffic Police have declared the Noida Motorway a Breakdown Challan Zone. Following this zone, the vehicle owner or driver may be penalised if the vehicle breaks down on this expressway. DCP (Traffic) Lakhan Singh Yadav stated that traffic jams develop when vehicles break down on the motorway. Others are experiencing difficulties as a result of the traffic gridlock.
