Jio has announced two new prepaid recharge plans for its subscribers. These plans are designed for folks who only make calls and send SMS and do not require data. These initiatives were launched following the instructions of the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI).

The first plan is Rs 458.
Customers benefit from an 84-day validity period under this package. This includes unlimited voice calls and 1,000 free SMS. Users will also gain free access to video apps such as JioCinema and Jio TV. This plan would be extremely beneficial for individuals who only want to make calls and send SMS and do not want data. In addition, this package provides free national roaming on any network in India. The price of this package is Rs 5 per day.
Second Plan – Rs 1958
This plan has a one-year validity period, or 365 days in total. It also supports unlimited phone calling and 3600 free SMS. Users may also enjoy JioCinema and Jio TV for free with this plan. This method will be quite advantageous to individuals who do not wish to constantly recharge. This eliminates the anxiety of phoning and communicating for the entire year. This plan costs Rs 5 per day, or Rs 155 for a month.
Old plans were discontinued.
In addition to these new tariffs, Jio has dropped its two previous plans of Rs 479 and Rs 1899. The Rs 479 plan provided 6GB data with an 84-day validity period, whilst the Rs 1899 plan provided 24GB data for 336 days.

Jio’s new voice-only tariffs are designed for consumers who only use their phones to converse and send SMS. This will provide them with better facilities at a reduced cost while also relieving them of the inconvenience of regular recharges.
