Mobikwik launched e-Rupi (e₹), a Central Bank digital currency wallet. Mobikwik is working with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and Yes Bank on this program. Mobikwik was the very first digital currency wallet to offer a full version of e-Rupi. All Mobikwik Android users can now utilise the e-Rupi wallet. It enables easy transactions between peers (P2P) and merchants (P2M).
UPI QR codes can be scanned
The Mobikwik e-wallet allows users to make payments by scanning any UPI QR code. It is completely interoperable with UPI. New Mobikwik customers must undergo video KYC before opening an e₹ wallet.Currently, the daily transaction limit for the e-Rupee wallet is Rs 50,000. The transaction limit is Rs 10,000, with currency denominations of 50 paise, ₹1, ₹2, ₹5, ₹10, ₹20, and ₹50. E-Rupees are offered in amounts of ₹100, ₹200, and ₹500.

Total spending also increased to Rs 287 crore from Rs 196 crore in the same quarter of FY 2023-24.
