Weather Update for Rajasthan: The weather in the state is expected to be dry for three to four days. During this period, temperatures are expected to drop by 2 to 4 degrees Celsius, and severe fog is expected in certain parts of northern Rajasthan. On January 10-12, there is a chance of rain and thunder in Bikaner, Jaipur, and Bharatpur divisions due to the activation of a new western disturbance.
According to the Rajasthan Weather Department,The weather in the capital Jaipur is anticipated to be dry until January 10. However, foggy and wet conditions are possible on January 11.

- Ajmer, Alwar, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Dausa, Dholpur, Jaipur, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Sikar, Tonk, Bikaner, Churu, Hanumangarh, and Ganganagar are all experiencing very dense fog.
- There is dense fog at Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Bundi, Chittorgarh, and Nagaur city.

- According to the MP Meteorological Department, another western disturbance will be active beginning January 10, with the chance of precipitation and cloud cover in certain locations around the state. Its effect is projected to last until January 12.
- Before Makar Sankranti, the weather will shift in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Bikaner, and Ajmer between January 10 and 12. Following the showers, the state will see another cold wave, with day and night temperatures dropping by five degrees.
- The Rabi crops will benefit from Mawath. Crops such as wheat, barley, gramme, mustard, and taramira will benefit the most.
