IPL 2025 points table : The Punjab Kings faced the Rajasthan Royals in match18 of the IPL 2025. On April 5, both teams played at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur. The Rajasthan Royals batted first in the match, and the team got off to a good start.
Yashasvi Jaiswal and Sanju Samson, the openers, scored 38 and 67 runs respectively. Furthermore, Riyan Parag went unbeaten with 43* runs in 25 deliveries. Nitish Rana added 12 runs, while Shimron Hetmyer scored 20 runs to help the Rajasthan Royals reach 205 runs in the first innings.
The Royals performed wonderfully in order to defend their aim. Jofra Archer was previously the top Royals bowler, getting three wickets. Sandeep Sharma and Maheesh Theekshana both took two wickets, as did Kumar Kartikeya, and Wanindu Hasaranga took one.
