PM Modi : On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched an all-out attack on Congress, calling it a “parasitic party that swallows” its friends. PM Modi was speaking to party members at BJP headquarters in Delhi when he declared, “Congress is such a parasite party that sucks its allies. Congress aims to create a country in which citizens despise their own past, distrust national institutions, and seek to damage the image of everything the country is proud of.”
PM Modi stated
Also, the Prime Minister stated, “Whether it is the country’s Election Commission, the country’s police, the country’s judiciary, Congress wants to tarnish every institution.” He also reportedly mentioned Congress’ refusal to recognize the Haryana election results. On Tuesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched an all-out attack on the Congress, describing it as a “parasitic party that swallows” its partners.
BJP wins Haryana; NC-Congress wins Jammu and Kashmir
Notably, the BJP won the Haryana Assembly race for the third time in a row, gaining 48 of the 90 seats to the Congress’s 37. The BJP’s victory bucked popular beliefs and exit poll projections, which predicted a clean sweep for Congress. The BJP not only won the elections, but it also achieved its highest vote total in Haryana.
In Jammu and Kashmir, however, the National Conference-Congress combination won a landslide, capturing 49 seats. The NC got 42 seats, while the Congress won six. The CPI, the coalition’s third ally, only won one seat. The BJP won 29 seats, making it the second largest party.

According to PM Modi, “Congress performed similarly in Lok Sabha elections “
PM Modi also fired a “parjeevi” remark at the Congress over the Jammu and Kashmir results. “”In Jammu and Kashmir, Congress voters had been concerned that the party was causing their decline, and Tuesday results have validated those concerns.”Remember that the same thing happened with the election results. Half of the seats gained by the Congress in the Lok Sabha were due to alliances. Aside from that, where the allies placed their trust in Congress, their boat capsized. Prime Minister Modi highlighted that in numerous states, Congress’ allies faced the brunt of the party’s dismal performance.
The Prime Minister also accused the Congress of attempting to mislead the nation during the Lok Sabha elections. He went on to say, “You’ll recall the uproar they produced before the Lok Sabha election results. During the elections, these persons and their urban Naxalite supporters went to the Supreme Court to destroy the Election Commission’s reputation. They did the same thing today too. Congress has trying to deceive our citizens. Congress constantly attempts to call into doubt the neutrality of our institutions and destroy their reputations. Congress has a history of doing this. “Congress did these things openly,” he said afterwards.
The Election Commission of India on Tuesday dismissed the Congress’s charge of a delay in updating Haryana parliamentary poll results as “ill-founded” and rejected the attempt “to give credence to irresponsible, unfounded, and uncorroborated malafide narratives.”
ECI replied to a memorandum from Congress national secretary Jairam Ramesh, in which the party complained about a “unexplained slowdown” in posting Haryana assembly vote results on its website.
