Withdrawing money from another bank’s ATM after a fixed limit would cost Rs 19 starting May 1, 2025, up from Rs 17 before. Also, the fee for checking the balance has been raised from Rs 7 to Rs 9. The bank allows its customers to make up to 5 free transactions in metro cities and 3 free transactions in non-metro cities at other ATMs every month. Above this, an additional charge will be applied to the transaction.

The London talks are a follow-up to a conference in Paris last week where the United States and European countries explored ways to resolve the more than three-year-old conflict.

Putin told a Russian state TV reporter that violence had restarted following his surprise 30-hour Easter ceasefire, which he declared unilaterally on Saturday.

Both nations accused the other of breaking Putin’s truce, which Kyiv had derided from the start as a ruse.

“Ukraine, the United Kingdom, France, and the United States – we are prepared to move ahead as effectively as achievable, just as we have done before, to achieve an unconditional ceasefire, followed by the establishment of a real and lasting peace,” Zelenskiy wrote, adding that he had good discussions with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

The Ukrainian president further chastised Russia for continuing to employ heavy weapons, pointing out that strikes have increased despite the ceasefire. “The trend of increasing the use of heavy weaponry by Russian forces continues,” Zelenskyy said, adding that there were no air raid sirens at the time.

Zelenskyy also reported losses, saying that some Ukrainian forces were killed in a Russian “ambush” in the Donetsk region. He promised that those behind the attack will be “eliminated.”

In response, Russia’s Defense Ministry accused Ukraine of breaking the cease-fire by launching strikes in Donetsk overnight. According to the government, Ukraine sent 48 drones into Russian territory, causing civilian fatalities. Officials installed by Russia in the captured Kherson region reported attacks by Ukrainian forces as well.

Zelenskyy restated Ukraine’s offer to extend the truce for another 30 days when it expires at midnight on Sunday, but said Moscow had yet to react. He accused Russia of manipulating the truce to gain “favorable PR coverage” while failing to take any serious moves toward resolving the war.

Putin’s cease-fire announcement came just hours before he attended an Easter ceremony at Moscow’s Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, which was led by Patriarch Kirill, an ardent supporter of the Russian president and the Ukrainian conflict. Putin gave no information about how the truce would be monitored, calling its legitimacy into question.

As the battle continued, US President Donald Trump weighed in, stating that discussions between Ukraine and Russia had reached a critical stage.
