On Wednesday, US President Donald Trump called Prime Minister Narendra Modi to strongly denounce the terror incident in Pahalgam, Kashmir. In his phone chat with Prime Minister Modi, the US President emphasized his complete support for India’s efforts to bring the perpetrators of this horrible crime to justice.
Trump pledged his entire support for India.
In a tweet on X, Ministry of External Affairs Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated, “President Donald Trump @realDonaldTrump @POTUS called PM @narendramodi and conveyed his deepest condolences for the loss of innocent lives in the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir.”
Trump “strongly condemned the terrorist attack and indicated full support for India’s efforts to bring the perpetrators to justice.” India and the United States join forces in the battle against terrorism.” Jaiswal explained.

Earlier, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said Tuesday that the National Security Advisor informed Trump on the terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir, and he is being kept updated as additional information becomes available.

“What we understand already is dozens were killed and even more were injured in a brutal terrorist attack in a popular tourist location in South Kashmir,” she told reporters.
According to Leavitt, Trump would speak with Prime Minister Modi “as soon as he possibly can to express his heartfelt condolences for those lost.”

Earlier, in a post on Truth Social, Trump condoned the terror assaults in Kashmir, claiming that the United States stands firm with India in the fight against terrorism.

According to officials, the deadliest terrorist attack in Kashmir in recent years killed 26 people and injured several more, the majority of them were tourists.
