Trump and Zelensky meeting : Minutes into their meeting in the Oval Office, US President Donald Trump and Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky had a heated altercation. President Trump warned Mr Zelensky in a loud and harsh voice, “Either make a deal or we are out.”
“You are in serious trouble…you are not winning this,” he told you.
President Zelensky answered with equal force, declaring, “We are in our own nation, and we have remained tough all this time. We have even thanked you for it (your support)”, to which the US Vice President remarked, “in this meeting?”

However, the two leaders engaged in an amazing yelling war, as the global press watched in shock. “I’m afraid dealing this way is going to make things very difficult,” President Trump remarked, as expectations for a peace deal in Ukraine dwindled.

The disagreement had now expanded to include the US Vice President, who Zelensky requested to stop “talking loudly”. Keeping a stern tone, US Vice President JD Vance told President Zelensky that “diplomacy was needed” to stop the war, to which President Zelensky responded, “What kind of diplomacy?”. Mr. Vance then accused him of being “disrespectful” in the President’s office.

Defending the Vice President, Donald Trump blasted President Zelensky, stating, “We have given you $350 billion, military weapons, and a lot of support. If you hadn’t had our military weaponry, the war would have ended in two weeks.”
President Zelensky responded instantly, indirectly accusing Trump of using the same rhetoric as Putin. replies “yes-yes, wouldn’t have lasted even two or three days – I heard that from Putin too,”
Donald Trump, taken aback by Zelensky’s tenacity in the face of his vocal scolding, ended up declaring, “It is going to be a very hard thing to do business like this,” as the critical minerals transaction appeared to be slipping away. A no-deal scenario would result in no cease-fire or peace agreement. At this point, some journalists were seen holding their heads and nodding in dismay.
In an attempt to bring matters under control, the US Vice President intervened again, saying, “There are disagreements. Let us go litigate those disagreements rather than fight it out in front of the American media when you are wrong. “We know you (Zelensky) are wrong.” A few days ago, Donald Trump referred to Zelensky as a “dictator” and accused him of “starting the war”.
Back in the Oval Office, Donald Trump quickly stated, “I believe it is beneficial for the American people to know what is going on. That is why I saved this story for so long. You have to be grateful for everything we (US) have done. “You just don’t have the cards to go solo.” In an attempt to lighten the mood, Trump added, “This is great TV.”
Trump almost scolded Zelensky, saying, “People are dying, you’re running low on soldiers, and then you tell us ‘I don’t want a ceasefire’ and ‘I want to go on fighting’ – Look…you need to announce a ceasefire now, so that the bullets stop flying and no more lives are lost. “I’m here, and I want a ceasefire, but clearly you don’t,” Trump remarked in an angry tone.
Zelensky responded by asking Trump to “ask your predecessors what they have to say about the ceasefire,” to which Trump immediately replied, “That was a guy named Biden, who was not a smart person,” insulting the former US President, something he had done during campaign rallies but perhaps never in the Oval Office. The remark will almost probably exacerbate the divide between Republicans and Democrats.
“But that was your President,” Zelensky shouted, surprised by Trump’s outburst at Biden. Trump continued to address the Ukrainian President, adding, “I handed you javelins (a man-portable anti-tank system). Obama provided sheets (to cover bodies). You have to be more grateful to the individual who genuinely assisted.”

“Let me be quite clear with you: you do not have the cards. “With us, you have the cards, and without us, you don’t have any cards,” President Trump remarked at the close of the debate, as a clamour of press flooded the room.
Following the high-decibel meeting, Donald Trump immediately tweeted a statement on his social media platform Truth Social, writing, “I have determined that President Zelenskyy is not ready for peace if America gets involved.”
“He humiliated the United States of America in its revered Oval Office. “He can return when he is ready for peace,” President Trump stated.
Following this nasty meeting, the prospect for peace in Ukraine appears to have been postponed indefinitely, as President Zelensky withdrew without signing the essential pact that would be the first step towards a ceasefire.
