Russia Ukaine war : After suspending all military aid, the United States has also halted intelligence cooperation with war-torn Ukraine, increasing pressure on Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to work with his US counterpart Donald Trump to convene peace negotiations with Russia. According to sources familiar with the situation, the Trump administration has halted “everything,” including data on targets within Russia, limiting Ukraine’s ability to conduct effective long-range drone attacks.
The action might also keep Kyiv in the dark about Moscow’s strategic bomber aircraft movements and ballistic missile launches.

What is the pressure tactic in Russia Ukaine war ?
The suspension, which could cost lives by limiting Ukraine’s ability to defend itself against Russian missile strikes, came after the US cut off military aid to Kyiv earlier this week, following a disastrous Oval Office meeting on Friday in which Trump and Zelensky engaged in a shouting match in front of the world’s media. It demonstrates Trump’s willingness to play hardball with an ally as he shifts away from traditionally strong US support for Ukraine towards a more conciliatory approach to Moscow.
According to a source familiar with the issue, the Trump administration has suspended “everything,” including targeting data used by Ukraine to strike Russian targets. A second source stated that intelligence cooperation had only been “partially” reduced, but could not provide any other information.

According to White House officials, both sanctions, including those on military aid and information, might be lifted if peace talks continue.
“I believe the pause on the military and intelligence fronts will be lifted,” CIA Director John Ratcliffe told Fox Business Network on Wednesday.
“I expect we’ll work shoulder to shoulder with Ukraine as we have to push back on the hostility that’s there, but to put humanity in a better place for these peace negotiations to move forward,” added the president.
Clash Between Trump and Zelensky

Following an acrimonious meeting between Trump and Zelensky, Washington cut off military supplies to Kyiv on Monday. The conflict hampered the completion of an agreement that would grant the US access to money from Ukraine’s vital mineral riches, which Trump has requested in exchange for US military help.
On Wednesday, Zelensky stated that there had been “positive movement” on the subject, and that officials from both nations may meet again shortly.
The White House announced that it is reviewing its financing stop for Ukraine, and that discussions between the two countries on a mining deal are ongoing.
Is a Mineral Deal Coming Soon?
According to a senior administration official, the signing is scheduled to take place shortly and will serve as the first stage in a lengthy negotiation between Ukraine, Washington, and Russia to end the conflict.
In his address to Congress on Tuesday evening, Trump stated that Ukraine was ready to sign a mineral deal. He also stated that he had “serious discussions with Russia” and received strong indications that the country was ready for peace.
