Earlier on September 24, the Lebanese health department announced that Israel’s recent attack on Lebanon had resulted in at least 558 deaths, according to Al Jazeera.

The Lebanese health authority revealed that 50 of the 558 people died in IDF attacks were children, while 1,835 were wounded.

Notably, Israel continued to strike Hezbollah locations in Lebanon, while the Iran-backed terrorist group fired rockets at Haifa, Nahariya, the Galilee, and the Jezreel Valley overnight and Tuesday morning.

According to the Israel Defence Forces, the Air Force targeted around 1,600 targets in southern Lebanon and the Beqaa Valley, including missile launchers, command stations, and other terror infrastructure, some of which were within civilian homes.

Other Hezbollah targets were damaged by Israeli fire and tanks in the border towns of Ayta ash Shab and Ramyeh.

According to the IDF, 210 rockets were fired towards Israel on Monday. Several Israelis were treated for shrapnel wounds, self-injury on their route to refuge, and panic attacks.

They have also encouraged Indian nationals residing in Lebanon to leave as soon as feasible. They also warned individuals to exercise “extreme caution” and stay in touch with the Embassy, which will continue to operate in the face of the deteriorating circumstances.
