Trump and Biden Give Differing Christmas Messages ,Trump will take oath as President in January 2025

Christmas : The current and incoming US presidents had opposing messages for the Christmas holiday, with Democrat Joe Biden pushing Americans to ponder and unite and Republican Donald Trump providing a merry greeting and a flurry of politically charged social media tweets.

Biden conducted a video tour of the White House Christmas decorations

Biden conducted a video tour of the White House Christmas decorations, which was posted on YouTube late on Christmas Eve, in which he encourages Americans to put aside “all the noise and everything that divides us.”

“We’re here on this Earth to provide for and love one another,” Biden says in a voiceover as a camera sweeps across decorated evergreen trees and fireplaces inside the White House. “Too often we see each other as enemies, not as neighbours, not as fellow Americans,” he told reporters.

Biden advised Americans

Biden advised Americans to find a moment of “quiet reflection” to remind themselves to treat one another with dignity and respect, to “live in the light,” and to remember that there is more that unites than divides us. “We’re truly blessed to live in this nation,” he stated.

On Christmas Day, Trump posted a mid-morning

On Christmas Day, Trump posted a mid-morning “Merry Christmas” message on Truth Social with a photo of himself and his wife Melania, followed by more than two dozen retweets of articles or other social media posts supporting his political positions on topics such as controversial Defence Secretary nominee Pete Hegseth and his pursuit of Greenland and the Panama Canal.

One was a humorous meme of Barack Obama including a photo of the 44th President and Trump at the 2017 inauguration with the statement “When you see the guy who said ‘you’ll never be president’ at your inauguration.”

Biden believed office in 2021, claiming to “end this uncivil war that pits red against blue, rural versus urban, conservative versus liberal,” and announced his withdrawal from the 2024 presidential run in July to unite the country.

According to certain indicators, polarisation in the country has intensified, particularly during the 2024 campaign pitting Biden against Trump, before Democrat Kamala Harris took over.

Trump has advocated for the prosecution of perceived political adversaries and promised to overhaul the federal government.
