Shaktimaan 2 : Mukesh Khanna, a fan favourite, comes to play Shaktimaan after 19 years.The actor informed his fans about the news via his YouTube and Instagram pages. While confirming the return of Shaktimaan for a second season, the seasoned actor also discussed the show and its premiere date.
When will Shaktimaan 2 get its release date?
In an interview with ANI, Mukesh Khanna discussed the release date of Shaktimaan 2. Yes, the series is in pre-production and will be released over the next two years. “I continue to carry out my responsibilities, which I started in 1997 and completed until 2005. I believe my work should be available to the public by 2027.” However, the actor has not specified whether the show will be shown on DD National or OTT, but it appears that Mukesh Khanna is preparing for the debut of a limited series. In addition, it is unclear whether Shaktimaan’s former cast members will be back in Season 2.

For those unfamiliar, Shaktimaan premiered on Doordarshan in 1997 and starred Kitu Gidwani, Vaishnavi, Surendra Pal, and Tom Alter.It was immensely popular among the younger generation, and Shaktimaan’s outfit was one of the most fashionable children’s costumes at the time. DD aired around 400 episodes until the show ended in March 2005.

For those who are unaware, a film on Shaktimaan was being completed in 2018 but appears to have been shelved in the midst of all of this. Ranveer Singh, a Bollywood actor, was also chosen for the part. However, Mukesh Khanna made it clear that Ranveer would not be playing such a character.
