Peddi : The first look at Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor’s highly anticipated film ‘RC 16’ was revealed on Thursday. The title of this film was also announced to commemorate Charan’s 40th birthday. The pan-India film has been dubbed ‘Peddi’. Ram Charan appears on the poster with a beedi in his mouth and a look reminiscent of ‘Pushpa’. The actor’s first glance at the flick piqued fans’ interest.
Ram Charan is seen with a threatening expression
Ram Charan celebrates his 40th birthday today. As a gift to his fans, the filmmakers revealed the title of the picture as well as the actor’s first glimpse. Ram Charan’s appearance is considerably different this time. The actor’s look is extremely similar to Allu Arjun’s in ‘Pushpa’. His keen eyes, scattered hair, unkempt beard, and nose ring give him an intense appearance. Another poster depicts him with an ancient cricket bat, further adding to the mystery. A floodlighted village stadium may be seen in the backdrop. This image depicts a rural, amusing drama.
The cast of Peddi
This picture has a high budget and a big star cast. Aside from Ram Charan, the film’s main cast includes Janhvi Kapoor, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma. Buchi Babu Sana is both the writer and director. One unique aspect is that Kannada megastar Shiva Rajkumar plays a key role in it. AR Rahman, an Oscar-winning composer, has overseen the music.

Shooting for this film was recently concluded
Ram Charan’s film has recently ended its Hyderabad schedule. As soon as the filming was finished, the first look was released. However, it has yet to be shot in other locations. Following the initial peek, fans are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the trailer and release date.
Janhvi and Ram’s last pan-India flicks were flops
Janhvi Kapoor and Ram Charan have both appeared in pan-Indian films. In Devara: Part 1, Kapoor appeared opposite Ram’s RRR co-star Jr NTR, whilst in Game Changer, Ram Charan appeared opposite Kiara Advani. Both of these pan-India films failed to produce enchantment at the box office. It will be intriguing to see if they can turn the tables on ‘Peddi’.
