Manoj Kumar, an icon of Indian cinema, died on April 4, 2025, at the age of 87. He passed away at 4:03 a.m. in the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
According to medical records, the cause of his death was cardiogenic shock caused by an acute myocardial infarction, which is a severe heart attack. According to the sources, Kumar has been suffering from decompensated liver cirrhosis for some months, which has contributed to his worsening health.

He died at Kokilaben Hospital in Andheri after a long illness. It’s a big loss for the industry, and Manojji will truly miss you.”
He said, “We all kept meeting him on occasion. He was always full of life and happiness, and the entire business will miss him. A tremendous soul, a great maker like him, will never exist in our industry. Good bye, Manojji.”
