Kritika Kamra, who is now filming her most current series “Matka King” in Mumbai and managing her design company in Madhya Pradesh, says combining the two has been difficult but fantastic.
Kritika spoke about her path, saying, “Balancing my acting career and my own company has been challenging yet wonderfully satisfying.”
Kritika pays regular trips to local artisans and vendors to monitor production, ensuring that her brand’s offerings correspond to the highest standards of quality. Despite her hectic shooting timetable, she makes an effort to interact with the grassroots, showing her commitment to empowering local artists.

She went on: “I feel an intense duty towards both worlds—on one side, I’m creating stories that resonate with viewers through my work in Matka King, and on the other, I’m building a brand that celebrates the skill and craftsmanship of the local artists in Madhya Pradesh.”
The actress went on to say, “I personally contact the artisans and suppliers to ensure we deliver nothing short of excellence.” It’s chaotic, but when you love what you do, it’s all worthwhile.”

‘Matka King’ goes into the complex world of Matka gaming, which originated in Mumbai. Vijay Varma stars in the series as the Matka King.

Kritika rose to popularity after playing Arohi Sharma in the television show ‘Kitani Mohabbat Hai’. She later appeared in episodes like ‘Kuch Toh Log Kahenge, Reporters, and Prem Ya Paheli – Chandrakanta’.
The actress has also been in the dancing reality show ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 7’ and has demonstrated her skill in series such as ‘Tandav’ and ‘Bambai Meri Jaan’. The 35-year-old actress made her cinematic debut with 2018’s ‘Mitron’. She also has ‘For Your Eyes Only’ with Prateek Gandhi.
Kritika first became involved in helping revive local arts and artisan groups in Madhya Pradesh in October. She stated that she has great respect for the craftspeople who keep Chanderi craft alive.
Kritika stated, “Chanderi has always been known for its wonderful handloom art, and growing up in this town, I have immense admiration for the artisans who keep this trade alive. Starting this program with my mother was a way to honour that heritage while also contributing to our community.
