Vacations : The country’s temperatures are rapidly rising. The pupils in the school are looking forward to their summer break. In such a case, there is good news for students in Delhi schools. The Directorate of Education, Delhi, or DOE, has issued the annual school schedule for the academic year 2025-26. It includes information on entry and holiday schedules. A circular has been issued on this matter. According to the circular, the academic session began on April 1 and marked the official start of the new school year in Delhi’s government and government-aided institutions.

Vacations during the summer and winter .
- Summer vacations will begin on May 11 and last on June 30. However, teachers must report to school beginning June 28.
- Autumn holidays will be from September 29 to October 1, while winter breaks will be from January 1 to 15.
- According to the circular, “planned admissions” for classes 6-9 will take place between April 1 and June 30. However, “non-planned admissions” will be held in three phases, with registration taking place in the same three phases. Aside from that, the circular adds that admissions under the Right to Education (RTI) Act for grades 6 through 8 will continue throughout the school year.
