Uttar Pradesh Extend of school holidays

Primary school holidays in Uttar Pradesh have been extended for an additional 15 days. Schools in Uttar Pradesh will be closed until June 30. Schools in Uttar Pradesh are scheduled to open on June 16, but the government has granted teachers’ and parents’ requests to prolong the breaks owing to the increasing heat. The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has decided to extend the school holidays in response to the state’s continuous heat wave and rising temperatures. Teachers, on the other hand, will be required to return to school as of June 16.

Many states, including Uttar Pradesh, are currently experiencing extreme heat. The temperature in UP is consistently over 45 degrees Celsius. In such cases, sending children to school has become a source of anxiety for parents. In light of the blazing heat, teacher associations are now urging the government to extend the summer vacation until June 30th.

Schools were set to open on June 16.

The council schools in UP are currently closed due to the summer holidays. According to the previously scheduled schedule, these schools were set to open on June 16. As the heat wave persists and the temperature rises, teachers and parents are concerned about the children’s health. This is why everyone demanded that the government prolong the school holidays.

Teacher organizations sent a demand letter.

In light of the searing heat, members from the Uttar Pradesh Prathmik Shikshak Sangh and the Vishisht BTC Teacher Welfare Association recently met with the Basic Education Minister and departmental officials. During this time, they sent a demand letter, recommending that the school holiday be extended until June 30. According to Vinay Tiwari, President of the Teachers’ Union, students may have to endure extreme heat at this time, which is detrimental to their health. He stated that starting the school now is not in the best interests of the pupils.

A letter was also sent to the Chief Minister.

The heat is building steadily, and the mercury has now risen above 45 degrees. In such a climate, operating schools is neither safe nor beneficial to students. On this occasion, teacher associations proposed another requirement. They said that the government has only included 15 districts in its transfer policy, despite the fact that teachers should be able to transfer to other districts .
