Khan Sir admitted to the hospital because he was dehydrated

Khan Sir : Due to dehydration and fatigue, prominent educationist Faizal Khan, often known as Khan Sir, was brought to the ICU at Prabhat Memorial Hiramati Hospital in Patna.

He became unwell after attending a BPSC aspirant protest in Gardanibagh in Patna on Friday. Aspiring BPSC candidates are protesting normalisation, and Khan Sir has expressed his solidarity with them.

Dr Satish Kumar, the hospital’s CMD, acknowledged that Khan Sir had suffered severe dehydration, necessitating saline treatment. His condition has greatly improved, and he is anticipated to be freed on Sunday morning if his recuperation goes well.

Khan Sir Health Problems began on Friday

Khan Sir’s health problems began on Friday, when he vomited multiple times, causing dehydration. Despite his health issues, he attended the protest, talked with a magistrate to mediate, and asked assistance getting back to his car. Police later brought him safely to Atal Path in Patna.

Doctors have noted significant improvement in the educationist’s treatment, so he expects to return to class soon.

Earlier on Friday evening, reports in the media indicated that Khan Sir had been detained by Patna Police. However, Patna’s Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Rajeev Mishra, stated that he was neither detained nor arrested.

On Saturday morning, Anu Kumari, Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) of the Sachiwalay area in Patna, denied any such developments regarding Khan Sir’s custody or arrest.

Khan Sir was never arrested nor held by Patna Police.

“Patna Police did not arrest or detain Khan Sir during the BPSC candidates’ dharna in Gardanibagh.. On Friday, Khan Sir willingly went to the Gardanibagh police station to speak with the duty magistrate. He informed the court that he would assist the protesting students in explaining the situation in order to keep the peace. Following this, he demanded police assistance in reaching his automobile, which was parked on Atal Path. “A police team then escorted him to his car in a police vehicle,” Anu Kumari explained.
