The board has not only updated the books, but has attempted to make a significant shift by altering something in the overall system.
Board exams are now given twice in a year.

The board stated that beginning this session, board exams for class 10th students will be held twice a year, with the first exam in February and the second exam in April. This means that if you fail the March exam in class 10th, you can try again in April by improving yourself, without having to wait a year. However, in Intermediate, or class 12th, the exam must be administered only once, like previously.
