CBSE has issued the syllabus for Classes 10 and 12 for the 2025-26 school year. The revised curriculum provides subject-specific academic material, learning outcomes, recommended teaching strategies, and assessment frameworks for students in grades 9 through 12.

The CBSE has asked schools to closely adhere to the directions stated in the curriculum’s first pages.
Advisory Committee Wrote
“Subjects should be provided in alignment with the specified syllabus, integrating hands-on activities, competency-based examinations, and creative methods to enhance students’ conceptual understanding and use,” the advisory committee wrote.
In accordance with the National Curriculum Framework-2023 principles, schools should use flexible and contextual teaching practices to meet varied learning requirements.
