CBSE has released new instructions; students must follow these criteria, otherwise the exam will be cancelled.

The CBSE 10th and 12th board exams are set to begin on February 15, 2025. A total of 204 subjects will be tested at various examination centres throughout the country. Over 44 lakh kids will take part in it. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced instructions for the board test. School and student rules have been established, and failure to observe them will result in severe penalties.

In the notice, CBSE stated that “Detailed unfair means rules have been prepared.” Schools should tell all students taking the board test about the examination’s ethics, as well as the norms and directions published by CBSE. Furthermore, CBSE stated that this message will be included in the admit card. Nonetheless, schools should disseminate this knowledge to their students and educate them. Create public awareness about the prohibition of unfair behaviour in the test hall or centre.

Schools received these guidelines (CBSE Board Exam 2025)

CBSE requested that schools study the UFM instructions and sanctions. Give students and parents information about exam ethics and punishments. Inform them that anyone who spreads rumours should be held accountable. So that the exam can be completed smoothly. The board has also directed the institutions to provide this information to officials on examination duty.

CCTV policy will be applied

This year, the CCTV policy will be applied at the board exams. CCTV cameras will be installed in all test halls at each exam centre. CCTV cameras will be used to monitor activities. If a student is detected with electronic devices, such as mobile phones, after entering the examination centre. Or if any student is active in spreading rumours that disrupt the examination. In such instances, the examination of all subjects for the current and next year will be cancelled. Students will be ineligible to take the whole subject examination.

What will be the dress code?

Regular students will take the board exam wearing their school uniforms. At the same time, CBSE advises private pupils to dress lightly and simply. Wallets, glasses, handbags, and pouches are not permitted. Carrying stationery, food, and other stuff is prohibited. Students with diabetes, on the other hand, are allowed to carry food.

Do not write such stuff on the question paper

Do not use profanity or abusive words on the answer sheet. Do not use threatening language, with or without an appeal to the evaluators, and do not use language or a threat of self-harm while responding. Use no other ink or pencil to write responses on the answer sheet. Attaching any cash note or other such instrument to the answer sheet, with or without an appeal message, will be rejected for review. In such cases, the UFM committee will warn them not to use similar language on future exam response sheets. The confiscated notes or coins will be put in the Board’s account.
