CBSE Boards 2025: CBSE will shortly close the opportunity for children with special needs (CwSN) taking the Class 10 and 12 board exams in 2025 to apply for any facilities or exemptions. CwSN students have until December 28, 2024 to use CBSE-approved facilities/exemptions during exams. A notice issued by the CBSE states: “You understand that the digital platform for filling the exemptions/facilities sought by CWsN students in examinations has been made available till 28.12.2024 (Saturday) meaning thereby only 4 days are left for filling of the correct data if not filled earlier.”

CBSE Boards 2025: The board additionally provided some recommendations that CBSE schools should follow when using the facilities:
- The schools should log in to Pariksha Sangam using their login ID and password.
- Requests for exemptions received directly to the CBSE (offline or in any other method) by schools shall also be posted on the stated portal during the specified time frame.
- No requests of any kind will be processed after the specified time and in offline mode.
- The schedule will not be extended, thus the process must be finished within the specified time frame.
CBSE has urged schools to admit CwSN pupils without discrimination and to provide equal chances in education, sports, and relaxation activities. The committee further stated, “The Section 16 of the Rights Of Persons With Disabilities Act, 2016, stipulates that the proper government and the local authorities shall endeavor that all institutions of learning funded or recognised by them provide inclusive education to children with disabilities.”
