Aditya Pandit, a 27-year-old Haryana resident charged with waning the suicide of an Air India pilot, Srishti Tuli, has applied for bail, alleging that he discovered her hanging and rushed her to the hospital.
Tuli, who lived in a leased flat in Marol, was discovered dead in the early hours of November 25. A day later, investigators detained Pandit, who was accused of collaborating with Tuli.

Tuli’s father reported that the two spent a few days together before she took the drastic step. On the day of the incident, however, Pandit left for Delhi about 1 p.m.
Tuli, a non-vegetarian, and Pandit, a vegetarian, were known to differ on dietary choices. The complainant alleges that she may have committed suicide only for the stated reason.

Pandit claims that he was detained solely because a FIR was filed against him, and that his detention violated legal norms. He has, however, stated that nothing of the type indicates abatement. In reality, he attempted to save her life.
