Faridabad killing : Ten people have been arrested for allegedly knifed a class 11 student to death in a market here, authorities said Wednesday.
The victim’s family, Anshul, structured protests and blamed police of inaction and “laughing off” the situation after complaining about him receiving death threats on Instagram a few days before.

Anshul’s sister, Anjali, told the police about the incident and stated that her brother had a disagreement with the accused a few days before. On Tuesday, they were at the market when the accused, Himanshu Mathur and Rohit Dhama, with a few other guys attacked Anshul with sticks and knives.

Seeing this, she and some residents hurried to rescue Anshul and carried him to the hospital, where he died from his injuries on Wednesday. Police say he was stabbed 14 times.
The victim’s buddy, Anmol, informed the police that the accused intended to spread hooliganism in the Baslewa neighbourhood and sold drugs. They frequently misbehaved with the girls in the region.
Anshul allegedly argued with the accused a few days ago. Anmol informed the police that the accused murdered Anshul in order to get revenge.
Based on Anjali’s complaint, a FIR was filed, and ten people, including Mathur and Dhama, were seized. Police stated a further investigation is underway.
