A 25-year-old Air India pilot allegedly committed herself in her Mumbai residence, authorities said Wednesday, and her partner has been arrested on accusations of abetment.
Srishti Tuli passed on Monday in her rented flat at the Kanakia Rainforest building in Andheri’s Marol area. Police said that she had hanged herself with a data wire earlier that day, but no suicide note was discovered.
Aditya Pandit, the woman’s boyfriend, has been arrested after an Air India pilot committed suicide.

According to a Powai police officer, Tuli’s uncle said in his complaint that Pandit harassed and humiliated her in public on numerous occasions. He stated Pandit also forced her to change her eating habits and cease eating non-vegetarian foods.

According to police, Tuli called Pandit, who was on his way to Delhi by road, in the early hours of Monday and stated that she intended to commit herself.

As Pandit arrived to Mumbai, he noticed the flat door was locked. He called a locksmith to enter the door and discovered his girlfriend dangling from a data cable. She was taken to Seven Hill Hospital in Andheri, where doctors confirmed her death.
Tuli, who was born in UP, has lived in Mumbai since June of the previous year, stated to the officer.She met Pandit 2 years ago while undergoing corporate pilot training in Delhi, and the two began dating soon after.
Pandit was convicted under Section 108 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, which bans attempting suicide. He was brought to court and ordered to be held in police custody until November 29.
