UPI Pin: Nowadays, most individuals choose to make payments digitally rather than using cash. Because the Unified Payment Interface (UPI) has made digital payments so simple and convenient. UPI PIN can be changed even without a debit card

Previously, you needed to use a debit card to alter your UPI PIN, but now you may do so without one, but you must have an Aadhaar card. Let us inform you that the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI) now allows you to set a UPI PIN using your Aadhaar card. Following this adjustment, digital transactions will become even more convenient, and an increasing number of people will be able to use the UPI payment system.

Step-by-step instructions for setting a UPI PIN using an Aadhaar card
If you want to set a UPI PIN without a debit card, first ensure that your mobile number is linked to your Aadhaar card and that the same mobile number is already registered with your bank. Because if you do not have the same cellphone number registered with your bank or Aadhaar card, you will be unable to access this service.

If you have the same cellphone number registered in both the bank and the Aadhaar card, you can set your PIN by following the directions provided below.
Step 1: First, launch the UPI app on your smartphone and link your bank account to the app.
Step 2: After adding the bank account, choose the “Set UPI PIN” option.
Step 3: You will now be given two options: Debit Card or Aadhaar OTP.
Step 4: Choose the option to set UPI PIN using Aadhaar OTP from the two options.
Step 5: Validate your Aadhaar number by typing the first six digits.
Step 6: A One-Time Password (OTP) will be issued to the mobile number registered in your bank account, which you must input and validate.
Step 7- After verifying the OTP, you will be given the opportunity to create a new UPI PIN. This manner, you can set your UPI PIN without the use of a debit card.

Change in the UPI transaction limit
Let us remind you that the government wants more and more individuals to use UPI transactions. The RBI recently upped the UPI Lite transaction limit from Rs 500 to Rs 1000 per transaction. At the same time, the limit for UPI Lite Wallet has been raised from Rs 2000 to Rs 5000. Furthermore, the Reserve Bank of India has enhanced the UPI 123 PAY transaction limit from Rs 5,000 to Rs 10,000 per transaction.
Under the new laws, you can now make UPI payments of up to Rs 5 lakh per transaction in three categories: consumer tax payments, hospital and educational services, and IPO and government securities.
