Mahila Samriddhi Yojana : The government would grant a monthly aid of Rs 2500 to economically disadvantaged women in Delhi. The Mahila Samriddhi Scheme has been authorised by Cabinet. This sum would be deposited into the accounts of Delhi women under this plan. This plan will assist between 15 and 20 lakh Delhi women.

The Delhi government will provide this benefit to women who have a family income of less than Rs 3 lakh per year and do not pay taxes. So that these ladies might achieve financial independence. During the Delhi Assembly elections, the BJP stated in its campaign that underprivileged women in the city would receive monthly cash support of Rs 2500. The registration date has yet to be officially published. It is believed that the date will be confirmed soon.

Apply for Mahila Samriddhi Yojana

The Delhi government is building an online portal through which women can register for this plan. According to the Indian Express, all completed forms will be reviewed by a separate software that is being built to identify women who qualify for this initiative. The administration has also solicited data from other state departments in order to identify potential recipients.

Who will reap the benefits of Mahila Samriddhi Yojana ?

  • This Rs 2500 responsibility is designed specifically for women with an annual household income of less than Rs 3 lakh and who do not pay tax.
  • This scheme is also open to women between the ages of 18 and 60 who do not work for the government.
  • This scheme also includes women who do not get any other government financial aid.
  • Prior to applying, the applicant must have lived in Delhi for at least five years.
  • The applicant must own a single bank account in Delhi that is connected to their Aadhaar number.
  • For income of up to Rs 3 lakh per year, obtain an income certificate from the area’s SDM or another authorised Revenue Department officer.

Which documentation will be requested.

There is no official update on which documents are necessary for program registration, however applicants may need an Aadhaar card, a BPL ration card, a residency certificate, an income certificate, and a mobile number. In addition, the application can be linked to Aadhaar using the portal.
