Access to airport lounges is limited
On November 15, the rules for ICICI Bank Credit Cards will be modified, affecting points for rewards, transaction fees, and other features across many card categories . According to the new credit card restrictions, ICICI Bank credit card customers must now spend Rs 75,000 on their card each quarter to qualify for complimentary airport lounge access. Previously, complimentary airport lounge access was provided with purchases of Rs 35,000 or more in a quarter.

Rules for reducing the fuel surcharge
ICICI Bank, the second largest private-sector bank, has similarly decided to amend the fuel fee waiver guidelines for credit card holders. The bank would now abolish the fuel surcharge for credit card purchases of up to Rs 50,000 per month. The monthly restriction on the Emerald MasterCard Metal Credit Card is Rs 1 lakh.
Rules for paying utility bills and insurance
Premium credit cards (Rubix, Sapphiro, Emerald) will keep earning reward points on a monthly basis of up to Rs 80,000 and insurance payments of the same amount. Aside from that, other cards would have a limit of up to Rs 40,000 for monthly spending or insurance payments, with reward points available.

Apart from that, premium credit cardholders can earn reward points on monthly grocery purchases of up to Rs 40,000. While for all other cards, the limit has been increased to Rs 20,000.
This modification, along with the price for the supplementary card
Under the new amendments, ICICI Bank has imposed an annual fee of Rs 199 on supplementary cardholders. Which will be added to the card’s anniversary month statement. Aside from that, a 1% fee will be assessed on the transaction amount for making payments through third-party payment systems such as CRED, Paytm, or MobiKwik for other utility transactions, including education. Aside from that, the bank’s spa service through the DreamFolks Card will be stopped.
