LPG Prices : Today, commercial LPG prices increased by Rs 6; view the most recent rates in your city

LPG Prices : Beginning on Saturday, March 1, oil marketing companies in India have announced a price increase of Rs 6 for commercial LPG cylinders. A 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder now costs Rs 1,803 in Delhi, up from Rs 1,797 in August 2024, while 14.2-kg home LPG cylinders remain unchanged.

The lowest March 1 increase in five years

The Rs 6 price increase this year is the least on March 1 in the prior five years. In contrast, in March 2023, there was a significant increase of Rs 352 per cylinder. Although the 19-kg commercial cylinder received a Rs 7 price reduction on Budget Day, the most recent modification eliminates that benefit.

Latest commercial LPG Prices – City-wise breakdown

According to statistics from the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC), here are the latest rates for 19-kg commercial LPG cylinders in key cities:

Delhi: 1,803 rupees (up from 1,797).
Rs 1,913 (up from Rs 1,907) in Kolkata.
Rs 1,755.50 in Mumbai (up from Rs 1,749.50).
Rs 1,965.50 in Chennai (up from Rs 1,959.50).

Prices for household LPG Cylinders remain unchanged.

Commercial LPG pricing have been raised, however domestic LPG cylinder rates have not altered. As of March 1, 2025, the pricing of 14.2-kg home LPG cylinders in key cities are:

Delhi – Rs 803
Kolkata – Rs. 829
Mumbai – Rs. 802.50
Chennai: Rs 818.50.
Lucknow: Rs 840.50
