Close of bank service : Kotak Mahindra Bank account holders have received an important notification (Kotak Mahindra Bank Customers Alert). Some services will be disrupted for two days in February. The bank has announced planned maintenance to improve certain services. Customers have been encouraged to finish the work for these services on time. Customers have also received an email about this.
According to the official website, the Kotak Visa Debit Card and Spendz Card service will be unavailable on February 5 and 12. Services will be unavailable from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m. on both days.

During the maintenance, there will be no in-store POS transactions, internet transactions, or international ATM transactions. However, only Kotak Visa Debit Card and Spendz Card users would be affected by this service.
The bank altered its policies for certain consumers.
In February, new regulations went into effect for Kotak 811 account holders and retail current account customers. The fees for numerous financial services have altered. Rs 20 will be charged for transactions of Rs 2-5 lakh via RTGS (branch), while Rs 40 will be charged for transactions of Rs 5 lakh or more. The number of demand draft/cheque transactions each month remains constant at 15. Every NEFT transaction worth up to Rs 2 lakh will incur a fee of Rs 4. Three ATM transactions will be free in top cities, while five transactions will be free in non-top cities. Customers will be able to withdraw up to Rs 25,000 each day for free from other banks.
