Bank Service Close : HDFC, India’s largest private sector bank, has issued a notice to its customers. In reality, several HDFC Bank services will be unavailable to consumers for two days. According to the bank, banking services will be temporarily stopped on January 24 and 25 for maintenance. This action will help clients have a better banking experience. Previously, HDFC Bank halted some services on January 17 and 18 for maintenance.
24-25 January: IVR for Chatbanking, SMS Banking, and PhoneBanking
HDFC Bank has announced that it will work on ChatBanking, SMS Banking, and PhoneBanking IVR from 10:00 p.m. on January 24 to 2:00 p.m. on January 25. During this interruption, clients will not have access to any of these services.

25 January: UPI service will not be available
On Friday, UPI service will undergo maintenance.
January 25th: 12:00 midnight to 3:00 a.m. (3 hours).


Transactions made using UPI on HDFC Bank savings and current accounts, RuPay credit cards, the HDFC mobile banking app, and TPAPs (third-party apps) will be closed during this period. Merchant UPI transactions would also be hampered.

HDFC Bank claims that the necessary maintenance is being performed to improve their service. Customers have been encouraged to manage their finances around these days. Earlier on January 17, several services were unavailable to consumers. Then, clients had trouble recharging their Forex Cards using Forex Prepaid Card Service, Prepaid Card Netbanking, and Instant Reload Portal.
