Indian Railways has planned to run Amrit Bharat 2.0 edition trains that cater to low-income passengers. The Integral Coach Factory (ICF), located in Chennai, is currently producing advanced coaches for Amrit Bharat 2.0. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav recently visited the coach factory to inspect the Amrit Bharat trains. He predicted that 50 Amrit Bharat trains would run on the track over the following two years. These coaches will compete with the luxury experience provided by semi-high-speed Vande Bharat trains.
