Special trains operated by Indian Railways : Good news for rail users. The Railways has chosen to conduct over a dozen special trains in honor of the Diwali, Dhanteras, Bhai Dooj, and Chhath festivals. These trains will go through Madhya Pradesh, Bihar, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh.
The routes and schedules for all of these trains are provided here. Passengers can also obtain extensive information on the stops of these special trains from the railway station, rail help number 139, or online.
Special trains operated by Indian Railways will run in November.
From October 14 to November 4, 2024, train number 07363 SSS Hubli Rishikesh Special will depart SSS Hubli station at 8.30 p.m. on Mondays. On Wednesday at 11.30 p.m., this train will arrive in Yoga Nagari Rishikesh. From October 17 to November 7, 2024, train number 07364 Rishikesh SSS Hubli Special will depart Yoga Nagari Rishikesh at 6.15 a.m. every Thursday and arrive at SSS Hubli at 6.30 a.m. on Saturday.
Train No. 04608 Jammu Tawi-Howrah Diwali Special will depart from Jammu Tawi at 20.20 hrs on 30.10.2024 and 04.11.2024 and arrive in Howrah at 13.20 hrs the following day, stopping in multiple stations. Train No. 04607 Howrah-Jammutvi Puja Special will depart Howrah at 23.45 hrs on 01.11.2024 & 06.11.2024 and arrive in Jammu Tawi at 15.20 hrs the following day, stopping at multiple stations.
Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra-Kamakhya Train No. 04680 Diwali Special will depart Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 18.40 hrs on 28.10.2024 and 02.11.2024 and arrive in Kamakhya at 21.00 hrs the next day, making stops at numerous stations. Train 04679 Kamakhya-Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Puja Special will depart Kamakhya at 06.00 hrs on 31.10.2024 and 05.11.2024 and arrive at Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 06.20 hrs the next day, stopping at various stations. This train will go from New Jalpaiguri to Barauni Junction, then to Hajpur (via Shahpur Patori) and finally to Chhapra.

Train number 04662 Amritsar-Saharsa Puja Special will depart from Amritsar at 20.10 hrs on 29.10.2024 and 03.11.2024 and arrive in Saharsa at 05.00 hrs the following day, stopping at various stations. In return, train number 04661 Saharsa-Amritsar Puja Special will depart Saharsa at 10.00 hrs on 31.10.2024 and 05.11.2024 and arrive in Amritsar at 06.20 hrs the following day, stopping at various stations. This train will travel from Hajipur to Muzaffarpur and then to Chhapra.
Train number 04520 Ambala-Darbhanga Diwali Special will leave Ambala at 19.00 hrs on October 25, 2024 and arrive in Darbhanga at 19.00 hrs the following day, stopping at several stations. In return, train number 04519 Darbhanga-Amritsar Puja Special would depart Darbhanga at 21.30 hrs on October 26, 2024 and arrive in Amritsar at 06.30 hrs the following day, stopping at numerous stations.
Train No. 09461 Ahmedabad-Danapur Special will depart Ahmedabad at 08.25 hrs on Saturdays from October 26 to November 16, 2024, and arrive in Danapur at 16.50 hrs on Sundays. In return, from October 27 to November 17, 2024, 09462 Danapur-Ahmedabad Special will depart every Sunday at 21.55 hrs and arrive in Ahmedabad at 07.10 hrs on Tuesday.
Train No. 06055 Coimbatore-Barauni Special will depart Coimbatore at 11.50 a.m. on Saturdays from October 26 to November 16, 2024, and arrive in Barauni at 14.30 a.m. on Monday. In exchange, 06056 Barauni-Coimbatore Special would depart every Tuesday between October 29 and November 19, 2024 at 23.45 hrs and arrive in Coimbatore on Friday at 03.45 hrs.
Train No. 07315 Ambala-Muzaffarpur Diwali Special would depart Ambala at 17.20 hrs on November 4, 2024 and arrive Muzaffarpur at 16.00 hrs the next day, stopping at various stations. In return, Train No. 07316 Muzaffarpur-Ambala Puja Special would leave Muzaffarpur at 13.15 hours on 09.11.2024 and arrive in Amritsar at 06.30 hrs the next day, stopping at several stations.
Train No. 07649 Maula Ali (Secunderabad)-Muzaffarpur Diwali Limited will depart from Maula Ali every Monday from October 28 to November 11, 2024 at 16.45 hrs and arrive in Muzaffarpur on Wednesday at 02.30 hrs, making stops at various stations. In return, train number 07650 Muzaffarpur-Maula Ali Puja Special will depart Muzaffarpur every Wednesday from 30.10.2024 to 13.11.2024 at 04.50 hrs and arrive in Amritsar the following day at 06.30 hrs, stopping at a variety of stations.
Yeshwantpur-Kottayam Express Festival Special (Train No. 06215) will depart Yeshwantpur on Tuesday, October 29, 2024 (at 6.30 p.m.). The following day, at 8.10 a.m., they will arrive in Kottayam. On the return journey, this train will be renamed Kottayam-Yeshwantpur Express Festival Special 06216 and will depart from Kottayam at 11.10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. This train will arrive the following day at 1.15 p.m.
Train number 03507 Asansol-Nautanwa Particular will depart Asansol at 16:05 on November 2, 2024 and arrive in Nautanwa at 07:35 the next day. The 03508 Nautanwa-Asansol Special will leave Nautanwa at 08:40 and arrive in Asansol at 01:25 the next day, November 3, 2024. In both directions, this train will make stops at Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Barauni, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Chhapra, Siwan, Bhatni, Deoria Sadar, Gorakhpur, and Anand Nagar stations.
Train No. 03501 Asansol-Katihar Special will depart Asansol at 14:30 hrs on November 3, 2024 and arrive at Katihar at 01:30 hrs the following day. Train 03502 Katihar-Asansol Special will depart Katihar at 04:15 hrs on November 4, 2024 and arrive in Asansol at 14:45 hrs comparable day. In both directions, the train will make stops in Chittaranjan, Madhupur, Jasidih, Jhajha, Kiul, Barhiya, Hathidah Junction Upper, New Barauni, Begusarai, Sahibpur Kamal, Khagaria, Thana Bihpur, Naugachhia, and Kursela.
Train No. 09115 Vadodara-Gaya Special departs at 00.45 hrs on October 29 and arrives at Gaya Junction at 07.00 hrs the following day. Train No. 09116 Gaya-Baroda Special will depart at 10 a.m. on October 30 and arrive in Vadodara at 14 a.m. the following day.
