On Saturday, more than 60 raids were carried out in Srinagar “to dismantle the terrorist ecosystem,” according to a J&K Police spokeswoman.
They were carried out to take guns, documents, digital devices, and other items with the goal of gathering evidence and intelligence in order to detect and discourage any conspiracy or terrorist action against the nation’s security, according to police.
“This decisive action of J&K Police aims to dismantle the terrorist ecosystem in Jammu and Kashmir by identifying and taking legal action against individuals engaged in such anti-national and criminal activities,” according to a police spokesperson.
According to the spokesman, the police remain committed to ensuring the city’s peace and security.
“Any individual found furthering the agenda of violence, disruption, or unlawful activities will face strict legal consequences under the law,” according to the official.

According to an official, security officials are searching down terrorist associates and sympathizers throughout the Valley in order to dissuade future Pahalgam-style attacks.
Terrorists opened fire on Tuesday in Baisaran, often known as ‘Mini Switzerland’ and a popular tourist destination, in the upper reaches of Pahalgam in Anantnag district, killing 26 persons, the majority of them were visitors from other states.
The event has heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi stating that the murders will be pursued “to the ends of the earth.”
Following a search on Thursday night, authorities blew up the homes of two active terrorists: Aadil Thoker in the Bijbehara region of Anantnag district and Asif Sheikh in the Tral area of Pulwama district.
While Thoker has been identified as one of three terrorists responsible for the heinous massacre of tourists in Pahalgam, Sheikh’s involvement in the attack has not been ruled out, officials added.
Officials stated on Saturday that four residences belonging to accused terrorists were demolished on Friday night in the south Kashmir districts of Pulwama, Shopian, Kupwara, and Kulgam.
In addition, security personnel have taken up hundreds of overground workers (OWGs) and their supporters, primarily in four south Kashmir districts, in an effort to locate the terrorists responsible for Tuesday’s attack.
