Narendra Modi : Prime Minister Narendra Modi greeted the people of Uttarakhand on the occasion of the 25th State Foundation Day today.
In a video message broadcast on X, the Prime Minister committed to realize the dream of a ‘Viksit Uttarakhand’ for a ‘Viksit Bharat’ over the next 25 years.
Congratulations to all of my state family members on the silver jubilee year of Devbhoomi Uttarakhand. “This century will be Uttarakhand’s decade,” Prime Minister Modi stated in a video message.
Prime Minister underlined that the national government is committed to Uttarakhand’s progress.
“Uttarakhand’s silver jubilee celebrations begin today. We must now go on a 25-year path to ensure the state’s future prosperity. In the next 25 years, the country will witness the realization of our goal of a developed Uttarakhand, which will contribute to a developed India. “The central government is doing everything possible to ensure the state’s development,” he stated.
Narendra Modi economic growth, saying
PM Modi highlighted the state’s economic growth, saying, “Uttarakhand achieved first place in last year’s SDG ranking. Over the last 1-2 years, the state’s growth rate has risen by more than 1.25 percent. The state has also upped its GST contribution by 14%. The state’s average yearly earnings has climbed to ₹2.6 lakh.

PM Modi again stressed the importance of responsible tourism and encouraged visitors to the hill state to prioritize cleanliness.
“I have four suggestions for tourists touring our state. Make cleanliness a priority whenever you visit the mountains. Pledge not to use single-use plastics. Continue to advocate for local issues. Follow the directions and rules for the place you’re visiting. “Remember and follow the rules and regulations for spiritual places,” Prime Minister Modi declared.
Dhami participated the 25th Uttarakhand Foundation Day ceremony
Pushkar Singh Dhami, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, had previously attended the 25th Foundation Day event at Dehradun’s Parade Ground. Several important guests attended the event, including Chief of Defence Staff Anil Chauhan, Governor Lieutenant General Gurmit Singh (Retd), State Secretary Radha Raturi, and other dignitaries.
During the ceremony, the Chief Minister gave the Uttarakhand Ratna Awards to five individuals: CDS Anil Chauhan, folk musician Pritam Bharatwan, Mahesh Kudiyal, Mata Mangala for social contributions, and Hemant Pandey for film and art.
