Suvendu Adhikari, the West Bengal LoP and popular BJP leader, warned Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday after the party ousted the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) from office, returning to Delhi after a 25-year absence.
Suvendu Adhikari told the reporters
Adhikari told the reporters, “Delhi ki jeet hamari hain… 2026 mein Bengal ki baari” (We’ve won Delhi, now it’s Bengal’s turn in 2026). Adhikari also claimed that the BJP triumphed in Bengali-majority districts, where he had campaigned. He said, “AAP-da ki vidayi ho gayi hai. I campaigned in Delhi’s Bengali-majority regions, and the infrastructure is in horrible shape. They have ruined Delhi. The BJP comfortably won the majority of Delhi’s Bengali districts.”

Meanwhile, the Bengal BJP’s president and MP, Sukanta Majumdar, made a similar message.”In the next Assembly election, the people of Bengal will vote for the BJP,” he told the media.
It should be mentioned that the assembly elections in West Bengal are scheduled for March-April of next year. The BJP has long sought to destabilise the Mamata-led Trinamool Congress government. However, after her inauguration on May 20, 2011, CM Mamata has managed to maintain power.
