Justice is served : India targets 9 terrorist bases in Pakistan and the PoK as part of Operation Sindoor to exact revenge on Pahalgam.

Justice is served : The Indian Armed Forces responded forcefully to the recent terror attack in Pahalgam by launching precise missile attacks on nine terror sites in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) early on Wednesday. One of these targets was Bahawalpur, which is a recognized stronghold of the Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terror group.

Justice is served : According to an Indian Army statement issued

According to an Indian Army statement issued at 1:44 a.m., the strikes were part of a covert military effort known as ‘Operation Sindoor’.

A short while ago, the Indian Armed forces started ‘Operation Sindoor’ hitting terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir from where terrorist attacks against India have been planned and directed,” the army stated.

“The actions taken by the Indian Armed forces have been focused, measured and non-escalatory in nature,” it continued.

The statement underscored New Delhi’s intention to precisely remove terror infrastructure while stressing that no Pakistani military installations were targeted.

“India showed considerable restraint in the selection of targets and method of execution,” the military continued.

Meanwhile, Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, a spokesperson for the Pakistan Army, verified Indian missile strikes in Kotli and Muzaffarabad in Pakistan’s Kashmir, as well as Bahawalpur in Punjab state.

Chaudhry told ARY News that India launched air attacks in three locations: Bahwalpur’s Ahmed East region, Kotli, and Muzaffarabad.

He stated that the strikes were launched from Indian airspace, and that none of the jets entered Pakistani territory.

“All of our air force jets are airborne. This cruel and terrible act was carried out from within Indian airspace. “They were never allowed to enter Pakistan’s territory,” he added.

Chaudhry warned of vengeance, saying, “Let me say it unequivocally: Pakistan will respond to this at its own time and place.” This horrible provocation will not go unnoticed.

Response to Pahalgam’s Carnage

The Indian Army stated the strikes were in direct response to the Pahalgam terror incident, which killed 25 Indians and one Nepalese person.

“These actions come in the wake of the barbaric Pahalgam terrorist attack in which 25 Indians and one Nepali citizen were murdered,” according to a release.

“We are living up to the promise that those responsible for this attack will be held accountable.”

According to sources, India’s top military officers, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, were carefully monitoring the operation’s implementation.

During a high-level conference on April 29, Modi gave the military forces “complete operational freedom” to decide the nature, targets, and timing of the reaction.

Modi also emphasized the nation’s will to strike a “crushing blow to terrorism.”
