IMD Warn : The low pressure region over coastal Karnataka and the adjacent east-central Arabian Sea has drifted westward.It looks out over the east-central Arabian Sea and Karnataka’s coastline. Its cyclonic circulation reaches into the mid-troposphere. It may move west-northwest throughout the following two days. It is predicted to continue powerful for the next 24 hours before gradually fading. As a result, significant rainfall is expected in the impacted areas.
At the same a period of time a new western disturbances may strike the western Himalayas on the night of December 7 and the plains of North-West India on December 8.From December 7-9, the western Himalayas are expected to get light to moderate rain and snowfall.According to the Meteorological Department, several regions of North-West India will get mild to moderate rain on December 8.
The IMD predicts rain in North the state of Kerala ,Tamil Nadu, Coastal the Karnataka and Lakshadweep.After a rainstorm, the weather in these states can change quickly.

Low temperatures of 10-15℃ are forecast in North-West India’s plains. Temperatures in Assam, Meghalaya, and Sikkim are expected to be 1-3℃ below usual.
