DPS School in Delhi received a bomb threat, classes were made online

DPS School : On Today morning, a private school in the national capital’s Dwarka district got a bomb threat, according to Delhi Police.

Emergency response teams were deployed to the scene, and courses were moved to online mode for the day.

Arvind Kejriwal reacts DPS School

Former Delhi Chief Minister and AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal lashed out at the Delhi Police over the threat, claiming that criminals have a high morale because they have not yet been detained.

“Today, another school was threatened. “The confidence of criminals and those who threaten is very high because no one who threatens has yet been arrested,” Kejriwal wrote on X.

Previous bomb threats to schools.

On Saturday of last week, numerous schools in the city, including RK Puram’s Delhi Public School, got bomb threats via email for the second time.

The fire department, dog squads, and bomb detection teams were dispatched to the scene, but no suspicious activity was discovered following a thorough examination.

Last Friday morning, more than 30 schools received warnings about bombs via email.

Following a thorough inspection, no suspicious items were discovered.

The most recent threats come on the heels of threat emails addressed to at least 44 schools on December 9, which authorities finally classified as hoaxes.

In May, more than 250 schools, hospitals, and other facilities received similar email threats that have yet to be addressed.
