Bank Holiday: A government holiday has been proclaimed in West Bengal on Friday, April 9, in honor of Rabindranath Tagore Jayanti. West Bengal’s schools and institutions will be closed. Additionally, there won’t be any jobs in government offices. Furthermore, tomorrow will see the closure of all West Bengali banks, both public and private.

Tomorrow, April 9, West Bengal banks will be closed. On this day, there won’t be any employees in either government or private offices. Banks will not be operating on April 10 and April 11. Since April 10 and 11 are the second Saturday and Sunday of the month, banks will be closed on those days.

The Reserve Bank of India’s instructions state that all government banks in the country must close on the second and fourth Saturdays, as well as every Sunday. Banks now receive a weekly holiday.
