The high sales trend can be attributed to both urban areas and growing markets.
In September 2024, the MG Windsor made its debut in India. However, sales started in October 2024. Since then, it has consistently been one of the best-selling electric vehicles in the country.

Features of MG Windsor EV
The AeroGlide design of the MG Windsor makes it appear quite futuristic. Just a few of its impressive features include aero-lounge seats, front ventilated seats, LED lights, flush door handles, 18-inch alloy wheels, a 15.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, a PM 2.5 filter, a powered tailgate, a panoramic sunroof, and more. The back seat reclines 135 degrees and splits 60:40. The vehicle has four driving modes: eco+, eco, normal, and sport.

In contrast, the MG Windsor begins at Rs 13.50 lakh (ex-showroom). The electric vehicle is now part of the company’s Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) platform. Customers may now pay only for the vehicle, not the battery, owing to this. Customers can subscribe to the battery on a monthly basis, starting at Rs 3.5 per kilometer.

The MG Windsor uses a 38 kWh battery pack and an electric motor with a maximum output of 134 horsepower and 200 Nm. According to the manufacturer, the car can go an incredible 332 kilometers between charges.
