2025 Suzuki Gixxer 250 Series and V-Strom SX are now available in India, with an initial cost of Rs. 1.98 lakh

Suzuki Motorcycle India has introduced an OBD-2B certified lineup of 250 cc motorcycles. The Gixxer 250, Gixxer SF 250, and V-Strom SX are now comply with the most recent OBD-2B government standards, as well as new colour options. The Gixxer 250 is priced at Rs. 1.98 lakh, the Gixxer SF 250 at Rs. 2.07 lakh, and the V-Strom SX at Rs. 2.16 lakhs. All prices are quoted ex-showroom. In addition to the 250 cc bikes, Suzuki has updated its 150 cc motorcycle line with OBD-2B compliance. Aside from OBD-2B compliance and new colour options, the motorcycles remain unchanged, with no modifications to their specifications or feature lists.

After unveiling the Suzuki Gixxer 250 and V-Strom SX, Managing Director of Suzuki Motorcycle India stated:

Introducing the current line of motorcycles, Kenichi Umeda, Managing Director, Suzuki Motorcycle India, stated, “With the launch of OBD-2B certified motorcycles, we are aligning with upcoming government regulations while delivering performance in our products.” This revised motorcycle range not only has innovative technology, but also new colour options for our consumers to pick from.”

The 2025 Suzuki 250 models retain the 249 cc single-cylinder engine, which produces 26.5 horsepower at 9,300 rpm and 22.2 Nm at 7,300 rpm. The engine incorporates Suzuki Oil Cooling System (SOCS) and Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology to ensure excellent output, low fuel consumption, and ease of maintenance. The V-Strom SX now comes in three fresh colours: Champion Yellow No.2, Glass Sparkle Black, and Metallic Sonoma Red. The Gixxer 250 and Gixxer SF 250 also get three new colours: Metallic Mat Black No. 2, Metallic Mat Black No.2/Metallic Mat Bordeaux Red, and Metallic Triton Blue/Pearl Glacier White.
