New Honda Amaze : Honda Cars India has released the latest Amaze model to the Indian market.The tiny sedan has been released at an introductory price of ₹ 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom), with numerous modifications over the previous iteration. These upgrades may be noticed in terms of design, expanded feature lists, increased safety, and cabin revisions. With all of this, the Japanese manufacturer hopes to establish a stranglehold in the tiny sedan category. To achieve this goal, the brand is including a suite of ADAS technologies with the car, making it the first in its segment to do so.
Variant-wise Pricing for the New Honda Amaze
The Honda Amaze will be available in three trim levels: V, VX, and ZX. For 45 days, the sedan’s entry-level model will be priced at ₹ 7.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The most costly variant, the ZX, will cost ₹10.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

In terms of design, the 2024 Honda Amaze has a fresh charm. This is due to aspects such as redesigned headlamps, grilles, and a revamped front bumper holding fog lamps. Many may compare this to the Elevate SUV. To top it all off, the brand has included larger ORVMs that have a striking resemblance to those used on the Elevate. Meanwhile, the sedan appears to have the same silhouette as the previous version, although with newer 15-inch alloy wheels.

The Honda Amaze’s rear end has also been changed, with new LED tail lamps that mimic the Honda City’s style. However, a closer glance reveals that the detailing differs. In addition, the brand has updated the vehicle’s rear bumper. It now features four sensors and a rearview camera mounted beneath the trunk lid. In addition, the boot has been expanded to provide 416 litres of storage.
New Honda Amaze Functions, Protection
The tiny sedan’s specification list has seen substantial revisions from the Japanese automaker. This version of the Amaze has an 8-inch floating touchscreen multimedia system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto built in. A 7-inch semi-digital instrument display, rear AC vents, wireless charger, push-button start/stop, air purifier, fully automatic climate control, walkaway auto lock, connectivity features, and more are all available. The dual-tone interiors complete the look.
The brand provides occupant protection features such as six airbags, electronic stability control, traction control, rear parking sensors, hill start assist, and more. To top it all off, the brand is offering the Honda Sensing suite of ADAS technologies.
New Honda Amaze’s Powertrain
The new Honda Amaze is powered by a 1.2-litre four-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine that produces 89 horsepower and 110 Nm peak torque. This unit can be used with either a manual gearbox or a CVT.
