As many manufacturers turn their focus to midsize electric SUVs in 2025, Renault and Nissan are planning a strong comeback with new models in the midsize internal combustion engine (ICE) sector. The next-generation Renault Duster and its Nissan counterpart are planned to have tiny turbocharged engines and will be built on the highly specialized CMF-B chassis designed specifically for the Indian market.

These planned launches are set to boost competitiveness, giving buyers a variety of options in the ever-growing Indian SUV sector.
