Maruti Suzuki India Limited has achieved a significant milestone by exporting more than 30 lakh automobiles from India.The 3 millionth car was part of a consignment of 1,053 vehicles that left Gujarat’s Pipavav port on November 24. The shipment contained well-known models such as the Celerio, Fronx, Jimny, Ciaz, Dzire, and S-Presso.
Maruti Suzuki remains India’s largest automobile exporter.
The company started exporting vehicles in 1986, with its first large shipment of 500 cars to Hungary in 1987. It surpassed one million exports in fiscal year 2012-13, followed by two million in fiscal year 2020-21. The most recent million exports were finished in under three years and nine months, which is impressive.

Maruti Suzuki delivered a total of 181,444 automobiles from April to October in FY 2024-25, representing a 17.4% increase over the same period last year. Currently, its cars are shipped to approximately 100 countries, including important markets in Latin America, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
