Mahindra SUV : In November, Mahindra SUV sales were led by the Thar Roxx and Scorpio-N models.

Mahindra SUV: Mahindra automobiles continued to benefit from increased demand for SUVs in India, with the carmaker experiencing nearly 16 percent growth in the most popular segment in November. Last month, Mahindra sold 46,222 SUVs, led by models such as the Scorpio-N, Thar Roxx, and XUV700. In total, the automaker sold 47,294 utility vehicles in November, including exported units. Mahindra just introduced two electric SUVs, the XEV 9e and BE 6e, which are projected to boost sales even further starting next year.

Mahindra SUV set a new record

Mahindra set a new record for SUV sales in October, selling 54,504 units. While sales have decreased slightly compared to the festive season highs, Mahindra has grown tremendously since November of last year.Last month, Mahindra exported 1,072 utility cars. Mahindra exports SUVs such as the Scorpio-N and XUV 3XO to foreign markets.

Aside from the Scorpio-N and XUV700, Mahindra’s current SUVs, the Thar Roxx and XUV 3XO, have played a significant role in the company’s recent exponential expansion. Veejay Nakra, President of Mahindra & Mahindra’s Automotive Division, stated, “We sold 46,222 SUVs, a 16% increase in November, for a total of 79,083 vehicles.” Mahindra’s entire sales last month, which included commercial vehicles, increased by 12%.

Mahindra’s sales have grown significantly because to its latest generation models. Demand for Mahindra SUVs, which currently range up to eight models including the Bolero and Bolero Neo, has been steadily increasing over the last 12 months. Mahindra also intends to shorten high waiting times for its models in order to fulfil demand for SUVs such as the Thar Roxx by early next year to nine months or less.

Mahindra also anticipates sales to increase in the coming quarter with the introduction of two new electric SUVs, the XEV 9e and BE 6e. According to Nakra, “This month marked the official introduction of our most awaited Electric Origin SUVs, the BE6e and XEV9e. These Electric Origin SUVs will go on sale in phases beginning in late January 2025. Deliveries will begin at the final day of February or early March 2025. Mahindra’s electric car lineup now comprises these two electric SUVs, as well as the XUV400 EV. Both are based on Mahindra’s unique and exclusive EV platform INGLO and are the first of five upcoming electric SUVs from the company.
