Mahindra is preparing to introduce its new electrified vehicles this week. The future BE 6e and XEV 9e will be announced on November 26. At the introduction, the automaker will also disclose the price of its new electric vehicle. However, speculations indicate that the business will release only a portion of the pricing of these SUVs, like it did with the Thar Roxx. Battery information for the Mahindra BE 6e and XEV 9e
Mahindra disclosed that the BE 6e and XEV 9e would be equipped with 59kWh and 79kWh battery packs, respectively. These batteries can be recharged from 20% to 80% in around 20 minutes using a 175kW DC fast charger. Both models are expected to have rear-wheel drive from beginning, with motor outputs ranging from 231hp to 286hp depending on application.

They will have a ‘compact three-in-one powertrain’ from Mahindra, consisting of a motor, an inverter, and a transmission.

The design of the next SUVs is expected to pique people’s interest, since teasers and spy images have shown that the concept-like appearance would most likely be carried over into the production vehicles. The general coupe-SUV form factor remains true to the initial designs, with forceful cuts and strongly sculpted surfaces.
Both SUVs are expected to have an illuminated external logo, aero-optimized alloy wheels, significantly flared wheel arches with gloss-black cladding, and full-width LED daytime running lights (DRLs) in the front and back.

The BE 6e’s interior is cockpit-style, with a halo design surrounding the driver’s side and two floating multimedia displays. In contrast, the XEV 9e, a derivative of the ICE-powered XUV700, features triple screens that span the dashboard and shares certain switchgear with the XUV700. Both SUVs have remarkable features such as Level 2 ADAS assistance with five radars, in-car cameras, 5G connection, Dolby Atmos audio with a 16-speaker Harman Kardon sound system, and segment-first patterned lighting in the panoramic sunroof.
