Kia Syros Design : The Kia Syros has a modern design. This is apparent in the front fascia, which features vertically placed headlamps and daytime running lights (DRLs), as well as a solid-looking bumper. A taller hood accentuates these features, giving the SUV a powerful appearance. These design aspects are closely related to those found on the brand’s luxury electric SUV, the EV9.

The vehicle’s side profile features a tall, upright design with a black C-pillar that gives the appearance of a floating roof. Furthermore, the firm has released new alloy wheels. Meanwhile, the rear design echoes the front, with L-shaped LED tail lights mounted very high in the back.

The design is improved by paint colours such as Intense Red, Frost Blue, Pewter Olive, Aurora Black Pearl, Gravity Grey, Imperial Blue, Glacier White Pearl, and Sparking Silver. Its dimensions are 3,995 mm long, 1,800 mm wide, and 1,665 mm high. The wheelbase measures 2,550 mm in breadth. The SUV has a bootspace of 465 litre.

Kia Syros: Interior

The Syros cabin has an entirely fresh layout, with a 30-inch panoramic screen in the centre. This includes the infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster mounted directly behind the new two-spoke steering wheel with an off-center logo. With a five-seat arrangement, the SUV strives to provide comfortable sitting while further improving the atmosphere with a panoramic sunroof.

Kia Syros’ Features

The SUV’s features include wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, ventilated seats, power driver seat, wireless charger, push button start/stop, multi-zone climate control, a dedicated screen for AC controls, Harmon Kardon sound system, electronic parking brake, 60:40 split seat, ambient lighting, and more. The brand’s safety features include a 360-degree camera with blind spot monitoring, six airbags, hill start assist, a suite of Level 2 ADAS technologies, and more.

Kia Syros: powertrain

Kia Syros will be powered by a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine rated at 118 horsepower and 172 Nm of peak torque. It will also have the option of a 1.5-liter diesel engine with 113 hp and 250 Nm of peak torque. There are three gearbox options: 6-speed manual, 7-speed dual clutch, and a 6-speed torque converter automatic.

Kia Syros’ Variants

The Kia Syros has two engine options: the Smartstream G1.0 T-GDi and the 1.5L CRDi V GT. The pricing of all variations have been released, and you can find the ex-showroom prices for each variant below.

The Kia Syros Smartstream G1.0 T-GDi comes in four variants with a 6-speed manual gearbox: HTK- Rs 8.99 lakh, HTK(o)- Rs 9.99 lakh, HTK +- Rs 11.49 lakh, and HTX- Rs 13.29 lakh. The 7-speed DCT type is priced at Rs 12.79 for HTK, Rs 14.59 for HTX, and Rs 15.99 for HTX+.

The 1.5L CRDi VGT engine comes in three models with a 6-speed manual gearbox: HTK (o)- Rs 10.99 lakh, HTK +- Rs 12.49 lakh, and HTX- Rs 14.29 lakh. The 6-speed automatic gearbox has only one variant: the HTX Plus – Rs 16.99 lakh.
