Ducati Desmo450 MX : Ducati has entered a new market with the international launch of its first-ever motocross motorcycle, the Desmo450 MX. As the name implies, the bike is powered by a strong desmodromic engine and has a design inspired by the Italian manufacturer’s factory MX team bike, which represented the company in the 2024 Italian Motocross Championship. All of these distinguishing features make the bike ideal for track use only, limiting its street legality.

Starting with the main attraction, the bike is powered by a 450 cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine. The engine of the Desmo450 MX has been tweaked to produce 63.5 horsepower at 9,400 rpm and 53.5 Nm torque at 7,500 rpm. The brand’s Desmodromic engine can rev up to 11,900 rpm. It is mated with a five-speed transmission with a quickshifter.
A lightweight aluminium frame, suspended on a fully adjustable Showa 49 mm upside-down fork and a monoshock at the rear, aids performance. The bike sports a 260 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc to provide you complete power control. The bike’s 21-inch front and 19-inch rear wheels are fitted with Pirelli Scorpion MX32 mid-soft rubber. All of this added to the bike’s total weight of 104 kg without fuel.
